Riverbend Ranch
Montana, Wyoming, Utah
Heritage, Innovation, and Excellence
For more than a century, Riverbend Ranch has set the bar for what American Angus beef can be—rooted in family stewardship, driven by precision genetics, and executed without compromise.
Founded in 1907 when Piet VanderSloot established a 200-acre ranch in Montana, Riverbend Ranch is now a four-generation operation led by his grandson, Frank VanderSloot. What hasn’t changed is the mindset: raise cattle the right way, take responsibility for every step, and let quality speak for itself.
Full Vertical Stewardship
Riverbend Ranch oversees the entire lifecycle of their cattle. Beef is born, raised, grazed, and processed entirely in the USA, with no shortcuts and no handoffs.
Spanning 163,000 deeded acres across Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah, Riverbend combines large-scale capability with hands-on management—growing their own feed, caring for animals daily, and operating their own state-of-the-art processing facility. It’s a closed-loop system built for accountability, animal welfare, and long-term land stewardship
